Since a young age, I’ve loved reading fantasy books. The most influential authors for me have been Tolkien, Roger Zelazny, and Andrzej Sapkowski. From time to time, I also enjoy writing short stories. Below are two that I published on the Nowa Fantastyka website.

Please note, they are in Polish, as it’s my native language. Apologies to any non-Polish speakers!

Kruk (The Raven)

This low fantasy detective story follows a druid in a world where the role of his profession has changed with the rise of civilization. No longer secluded in the wild, druids now serve society, enforcing laws that safeguard the balance between nature and progress. In The Raven, the protagonist investigates a claim tied to an insurance policy, uncovering a web of family secrets and abuse.

Podziemny Zaprzęg (Sleddogs Below)

In this reimagining of Greek mythology, the river Styx lies frozen, and Charon no longer ferries souls by boat. Instead, the grim carrier guides a sled dog team across the icy expanse, delivering the dead to the gates of Hades. But this time, Charon bends the ancient rules, risking everything to bring someone into the underworld… and back again.
